UX and graphic designer based in Vancouver BC.
I got into graphic design probably like most others; I loved cartoons and drawing. My other passion growing up (… and now) was playing. I loved games; running, jumping, falling, getting up, doing it all over again. With sports, mainly baseball and volleyball, I learned teamwork before I knew how important it would be for my future. Solo sports like tennis and golf taught me how to be patient and calm under pressure.
After studying Digital Media Technology, I started with commercial motion graphics, but my career path led me towards print. This isn’t to say I was strictly print because any company requires a digital presence. After some years, my interest shifted to the digital world with UX design.
The impact of this mobile world in our everyday lives is obvious and I wanted to be a positive contributor. Not only with visual graphics, but with ideas, concepts and products that can improve daily life. I could go on and on, but you probably have things to do…
